Loaded with vitamins this product is valuable inside the body and out.
Admittedly, I did not purchase Spirulina Powder to ingest, but rather to incorporate into hand creams and face masks. The powder arrived as promised, within two days and upon opening the package, I understood its freshness and vibrant color. My products, created soon after had a beautiful green hue and produced wonderful results. Just what I wanted for my shrimp
I actually use this to feed my Opae Ula shrimp. They love feasting on this powder and it’s a much better alternative than feeding them algae wafers. I don’t know how they can even get away with calling them algae wafers if spirulina is the 13th ingredient on the list. This is pure algae. Perfect!

What a dissapointment, I thought I was supporting a real USA small organic business, but the Spirulina states on the bag it is a product of China, but no where in the description does it say it is from China. Upon opening the bag, it smelled off, it smelled fishy, it was not the deepest green I associate with other Spirulina I have purchased. It does not smell like a clean food product. IT states on the bag also that it is Satisfaction Guaranteed, but it states on Amazon site it is not returnable, and there is no product support link to contact the company direct. The company as well does not appear to have a legit business website to contact them about the issue of the smell and quality of the product. Buyer Beware.

I should have ordered a larger package but wanted to make sure I was pleased with the product. I have been using it in a smoothie recipe and have been pleased with the results so far. By adding fruit and unfiltered apple juice it is pleasant to the taste. My husband has enjoyed it was well, which was good because he can been picky.

This is the first spirulina that I try, so I donât know if the taste is supposed to be like this, but I find that even in suuuper small amounts this leaves an aftertaste in a smoothie with ripe bananas and other fragrant fruit. I donât go back to it since using it twice.
