At last! The changing pad, I have, for so long, searching for.
This product is great! Is portable, reusable, easy-to-wipe-clean changing pad that I can use at home or on the go. I can now change a diaper on a bed, for instance, and be able to protect the bed from staining. But most importantly also, it protects my baby from coming in contact with surfaces from public places while on the go.When my baby was born, the hospital gave me a gift bag from Gerber that included a changing pad that is similar to the Summer Infant one. Since then, I’ve thought that it’d be nice to have one pad for home use and another one to use for going out. After visiting various local stores, I found that the pad I wanted was not being sold individually. The pads would come packaged inside travel bags or diaper changing kits, which were costly, and included items I did not have any use for. Needless to say, their colors and designs were unappealing.After searching online for a while, finally, I was able to find a changing pad that is affordable, appealing, and good quality. The Gerber pad I have has a plastic front and back just like the Summer Infant one, but the edges are sealed with a cloth-like material, which could easily get wet or soiled. The Summer Infant pads are better because their edges are also plastic, which can easily be wiped clean if they get dirty. They even include a velcro seal tab so that the pad can stay folded when not in use.I’m glad I finally found this product. For something I have to be doing various times a day for perhaps a few years, I think it’s worth having something that’s convenient and that’s going to make my life easier.

Perfect Simple Changing Pad!
This is exactly what I was looking for: a simple, waterproof changing pad that you can plop down anywhere and turn any surface into a changing table! Our apt. is too small to fit a full changing table in our room with the limited space, so we needed something we could put on the bed or floor or wherever to make a changing space for our baby. This one works great for that purpose — I love that it is waterproof so our bed is protected against spills and you can just wipe it off for easy clean-up. It is thin enough to be foldable and portable, yet padded enough to use on any surface (no, it’s not as padded as a full changing table-top, but it’s not meant to be one, either!). The only glitch I realized after using it a few times was that I have to keep a piece of cloth or folded diaper under my baby girl when I change her otherwise when she pees it puddles up under her and rolls all the way up her back! This issue is kind of unavoidable with any waterproof pad, though, and it still does the job of protecting the surface of our bed, which is what I was more concerned about to begin with. Bottom line, great product, very usable.

Best changing mat.
These really are invaluable. I bought two – one for the diaper bag and one for home – and I’ve bought one for all my pregnant friends. They’re easy to use and easy to clean – protects the baby and whatever surface I’ve put him on and a cinch to wipe off with a baby wipe when finished. I use bleach wipes for major messes, let dry, and then re-wipe with a baby wipe or wet paper towel to remove any residue. At home I use this on top of the changing table when I suspect that there might be a major mess…much easier to clean than the linens on the table and nicer than disposable options. I love that they are smaller than most – easier to deal with and travel with – and honestly how often are the kiddo’s legs and feet on the ground anyway, when you’re changing a diaper? I’ve used these all kinds of places – including the back seat of the car – they’re perfectly sized. These are surprisingly well made considering the price and are holding up well under moderate use. I will continue to buy them, they are such a great deal!

bought this for my son. great changing pad !!!!!! easy to carry as it is foldable and closes with vulcro tab. it is comfortable as it is thick and cushony. cleaning is pretty easy. I have another mat that came with diaper bag. but, it absorbs moisture when my kid pees. this changing mat is waterproof and if it gets dirty with pee or poo, just wipe it with diaper wipes. life made easy with this mat !!! such a great mat at affordable price. love it………….

I bought this to keep in the trunk of my SUV for quick changes in the car, on the go. I have seen too many changing stations in public restrooms that have scarred me for life so I have some basics in the trunk. The pad itself is a perfect size in this case. Also fits into my diaper bag and handbags for quick errands. My 7 week old boy is already almost too long for this pad but in general I think this would work in any situation, for anyone. It cleans easily with wipes or I throw mine in a delicate wash cycle in a mesh laundry bag if I have used it in a place that isn’t very sanitary. Velcro makes it easy to close and keep closed when your juggling a wiggle worm! It’s also cushioned enough for baby’s head.

Simple, must-have product
This is a simple but must-have product for us. The pad is lightweight, folds relatively compactly, and is reasonably durable. The white side is a smooth, vinyl-like fabric that cleans up easily. The back is a black nylon-type fabric. Between the two layers is a modest–but sufficient–amount of padding, perfect for floors, changing tables, etc. When folded up, the pad is held closed by a simple velcro clasp. I really like that i can unfold and re-fold it using one hand, which is helpful when holding the kid in the other arm. Overall, this is a basic product but one I wouldn’t want to go without.

We put this in our diaper bag and use it whenever we aren’t at home. In public washrooms, I put it on top of the change table in stores to protect my babe from the table..just give it a quick wipe down after you’re done and stick it back in the bag. Easy and more environmentally friendly(and cheaper) than the disposable ones!
