Excellent Product. Makes the DJI RC2 controller more practical to use
This is an important item to get if you are using the DJI RC2 controller. That’s the one with the video screen.So when you are out on a trail going over rugged terrain, you need to be able to keep your hands free for safety, but you also need to be able to get to the controller quickly. In addition, bright sunlight can obscure images on the controller screen. This product solves all of those problems, and it is very inexpensive.The benefits:1. The strap is light weight and takes up very little room in the drone case or backpack. It’s also very comfortable to wear and it is adjustable.2. The cover provides a shade to block sunlight and make the display easier to view.3. The cover is an important safety item because it covers the flight controls when closed, preventing spurious and unintentional commands while you are navigating your way over difficult terrain.4. The cover allows you to be safe and keep your hands free so that you can balance yourself if you stumble or fall along the way.5. The cover allows you to keep the screw-in joystick levers in place instead of having to remove them when you put the controller away.Disadvantages:1. NoneIn conclusion, I find this hood shade with lanyard to be an essential safety item for anyone who is going to be using a DJI drone with the RC2 controller in remote or difficult terrain. Surprising Value and Design
This fit my RC2 controller like a glove and it is secure, precise and fully functional. In short, it exceeds expectation for a controller cover screen protector and sun shade WITHOUT having to remove and stow controller sticks when not in use. Outstanding Product!

Works Perfectly – Modified to Fit My Case – Helps With Glare
I got this sun hood to help with glare during my flights. I use the drone for inspections so I don’t always know that I will have shade to help with my vision. The shade secures nicely to the controller and provides a very clean look. The overall shield is a bit wider than the controller so what I did was to use a band saw and sander to remove the “sides” of the shade but leaving a very nice cover on the controller. This allowed me to continue to slide the controller into the sponge-fitted case by Nanook and have no need to cut the foam.As for the screen protector, that was easy to install, bubble free, and provided a wonderful cover for the factory screen.

Pretty Good Idea
This hood and protection for my drone controller fits very good and lets me see the screen better in bright sunlight it also protects the screen very good when Iâm not using my controller. The screws and eye hooks work great and the strap is comfortable and works great when I need my hands for something else. For the price itâs well worth the money. Thank you Don

Good fit, Nice quality
I like that the package I got came with the screen protectors and lanyard system. It fits the controller very well and seems durable. The sunshade is a nice feature that I notice does not come with similar versions of this product. I was worried that the controller would not fit in the compact soft case that came with my DJI Mini Pro 4, as it protrudes a bit more where the joysticks are positioned. This product covers up the docking locations for the joysticks so they must stay installed on the controller. They are kept safe under the cover domes but this adds some height to the profile but not to worry, the controller fits fine in the bag with the drone and 3 pack battery charging unit and even a charging block. You just have to place them in the bag in a certain order. (Battery pack last!) Great product at a great price!

Very practical
This shade does a great job of eliminating sun glare from the screen of rc2 controller. It snaps on to the controller and protects the screen as well. Very light and soes nt get in the way while flying. The included lanyard is practical and useful.
