Perfect so far!
My girl was vomiting so much this past week. Not hairballs either. So I switched her food, added probiotic drops and looked up info on cat vomiting. I saw these anti vomiting bowls and read about possible causes for her feeling sick. I came across this bowl set on Amazon. Iâm so happy bc theyâre tilted and bowls are ceramic. Easy to clean, color is nice, bowls are solid/sturdy but not super heavy. I read that my previous cheap plastic containers/bowls were bad for cats and could even be part of the cause my girl is not feeling well. Right now I have a very content and non puking cat. It most likely was a food allergy (bf changed food up on accident) but in effort to make her overall health better, I think these bowls are nice to have. My Gabby girl went to them right away:) Def rec for function and looks great. Hth!

Very Helpful for My Cat
This elevated cat bowl stand set is the second one I’ve purchased from Sunhoo. My first one was made last year, and it has made a positive difference for my sweet cat, which in turn makes me happy with it. My baby is very large (Siberian), and leaning down to drink water was so very uncomfortable for him that he used to lie down in front of the water to drink it–to bring his head more level with the bowl. The elevation and the mild tilt of the raised tray has made it so much easier for him to enjoy his water. He also makes much less of a mess while eating his food when it’s set in this tilted tray.I only put water in the ceramic bowls, and I use shallower silicone bowls that I already owned for his wet food, which quite nicely rests in the tray opening.Now about the aesthetics:The ceramic bowls have a beautiful, gleaming, glazed coating. They are easy to hand wash, but also hold up very well in the top rack of the dishwasher.I prefer the striped grain of the wood of my first purchase. I inadvertently bought the new one without the two-color grain. A bit disappointed. Nevertheless, since I’ve already put it together, washed out the bowls and set it out for my baby to dine, I don’t intend to return/exchange it unless I discover some defect over the next 30 days. I sincerely hope that, when they made this model of the stand, the surface of the wood was sealed as well as the first one.The two-color tray wipes off easily, hasn’t lost any of its luster, and shows no hint of water staining. I expect the quality of the new one (the plain color) to be identical. IF this turns out to be the case, I still would highly recommend this cat tray. It also is incredibly simple to put together.I noticed a few people claiming that the water spills out of the bowls. Actually, it doesn’t need to happen, if you think through the process. Place the bowl into the recess *before* you pour in the water. This allows you to see how much water is shifting to the front edge, so you can easily avoid overpouring. If the bowl were any deeper than it already is, it would defeat the entire purpose of the raised tray–the bowl would be lower to the ground.Some people might perceive this as an extravagant expenditure for a cat, and thus would never buy one. But the elevated cat tray and bowls truly make it easier for the cat to drink, chew and swallow their food without gagging, and they can digest it better if it’s chewed better. So, it would honestly make a lovely surprise gift for a dear friend or other loved one, who perhaps cannot afford it or see for themselves the utility of it.

My elderly cat loved it so much my younger cat had to have one too!
Originally we bought one of these raised bowl stands for our very large, senior cat to help with the usual complaints. It took him a week or so to get a hang of eating his moist food without getting it all over the stand but he’s always a very enthusiastic eater and not particularly careful. Its one of the reasons we selected this stand with U shaped vs L shaped feet for added stability. He hasn’t been able to knock it over and the height and tilt have been perfect for him. We originally purchased 2 of the replacement bowls just so we could wash them easily and have instant replacements. Now our younger cat who was originally skeptical of the raised stand is refusing to eat out of her normal bowls because she wants ones like the other cat – so back we are for a 2nd one. Durable, easy to clean, nice look to them and space savvy without being cramped if 2 cats try to eat at oonce.

Fantastic product! Elevation and angling are great for pets. I gave 4 stars for sturdiness, but it is certainly sturdy enough for the typical cat. It could be scooted if on the right surface and if cat determined. Very reasonably priced.My only drawback is the depth of the food bowl…pretty deep for kibble for one cat; have to put more in than she should have to be able to easily reach the kibble….water is no problem.. In addition, my cat like “fresh” – so I have to add a bit several times a day…with deeper bowl just doesn’t work.I have another bowl in for food and have it propped with felt pads as it is a bit smaller. Still work s fine.Perhaps a choice of bowl size would be helpful.Added benefit….owner doesn’t have to reach to the floor to get bowls. Those several inches make a big difference for me as well. A good investment!

I really these new food bowls! I have 3 cats & was worried they all wouldn’t take to this new way of eating. But Sissy(pictured)who’s the fearless leader, went right to it and seemed really excited about it! So then Pippin and Pickles followed suit & ate enthusiastically. They love it, and i love how it matches my decor perfectly.𥰠also, I could tell when putting it together that it seems very sturdy. The bowls are nice & deep, but the tilt makes it easy to reach bottom without squishing their meowstaches. If my opinion changes I’ll update, but so far I gives this a hard 10/10! ð¸ð

Height and slant make eating posture healthy

It was a bit of a gamble buying online, but the bowl set is actually quite nice. I was surprised at the good quality, nice frame, nice sturdy ceramic bowls and easy to assemble. It is the right height for house cats. I wanted to try the elevated style for my one cat that over-eats and gets sick – this seems to lessen this quite a bit. Both our cats like the stand/bowls just fine.

Only complaint is removing water dish when water still in it to wash. Have to be very careful or because of angle of stand it can slop over.

very cute! the food bowl holds a lot, though because of the angle the water bowl can’t quite fit enough, it’s enough space for water but my pets can be finicky and now prefer to drink out of a different bowl but that’s ok, it keeps the area it’s in a lot cleaner (better than the assorted containers I had for their food/to keep them elevated) looks sure cute, and holds more food than the previous bowl did
