Super easy to control!
Ordered this for my 6yo- she loves all things remote controlled! She needed to hear the instructions 1 time and she figured out how to fly, do tricks, auto land SO FAST! For sure rec for kids! With that being said, I wish it had a longer fly time (5min seems short for the time it takes to charge 70min)

Fun little drone. Great value.
Disclaimer: I own a DJI Mavic Pro, and started out with a Holy Stone quadcopter. I’ve flown smaller ones like the DJI Spark and the DJI Tello, which is similar in size. I would say that for the price, this is a five-star drone. You get a lot for 35 dollars. Compared to other drones, I would say that there are certain improvements that could be made but those drones are much, much more expensive.Pros:Small manageable size – the drone is quite small, which is nice because it lends itself to indoor flight and easy travel. It is about 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches for a length and width, and the diagonal rotor distance is about 5 inches, while to entire copter stands at about 1.25 inches. This, as I said, is nice for indoor flight and you don’t have to worry too much about hitting someone. You can also easily launch it and land it from and on your hand.Robust and reasonably crash proof – The blade guards proved themselves quite useful, as I bumped it into walls several times, and the guards did their job. The copter simply bounced off the wall and continued flying. Additionally, when I was testing it, the drone died while flying. I knew this was coming, as I could feel the responsiveness beginning to slow and the flip function would no longer work. The drone fell from about 12 feet in the air onto the blacktop. I didn’t notice and dings, dents, or scar=tches, and once it was charged, it flew fine.Quiet – The drone has a shrill high pitched sound as it flies. It isn’t too loud, and I could talk to those next to me while flying without having to raise my voice while the copter was only a few feet away.Auto-flip function – This is fun. Executed, the drone flips in your specified direction, rolling quickly left, right, forward of backward and returning to hovering once completed. The flip function does not work once the battery drops below a certain percentage.LED lights for battery and connectivity – These are easy to see when on the ground and display info about the battery when charging or low, and connectivity when first powered on. The rear lights are green, and the ones in the front are red, but they can be hard to see in daylight once it gets more than about 30 feet away.Good range. I flew the drone about 70 or 80 feet away laterally without any problems, and about 40 feet up before coming down for fear of wind gusts. It worked fine, with no noticeable latency.Headless Mode – Great function for learning pilots, especially for a drone like this that has no camera feed. However, the instructions are quite confusing on how to engage this and it took me a solid 5 minutes of fiddling with the controls to get it to work. To get this to work, take off, hold the button a the top left of the controller until it starts beeping, and then push the stick forward. The forward-facing direction will remain that relative forward until this function is disengaged.Cons:Disproportionate flight to charge time ratio – According to the user manual, this charge time is about 70 minutes, while the flight time is around 5 minutes while hovering. I, however, found that it took about 35 minutes (charging for a wall outlet) for a full charge from dropping out of the sky dead. The flight time that I got was about 6 minutes, doing maneuvers, flips, climbing, falling, accelerating and decelerating. Still, I think this could be improved, and, as there are no removable batteries you can plug in once another is dead, I make using the drone for more than 10 minutes hard.Poor wind resistance – This thing blows outside with the slightest breeze. Inside, the flight trim is hard to adjust, and outside, it is not worth it. I found myself constantly adjusting to compensate for any wind.Instructions aren’t very clear – I found myself struggling to engage Headless mode, as well as find things within the manual. There are occasional typos, and the layout is confusing.Joysticks don’t articulate much – This is actually somewhat annoying. there isn’t much height to the sticks, and they don’t move around much, making any more precise movements difficult. Additionally, the other buttons on the controller are somewhat difficult to press.I liked this drone, especially for the price. This would be great for any kid, or even as a starting copter for someone who wants to see if they are interested in them. I like the size, durability, and flip function, but the battery life and wind resistance are something to consider.

Fun little toy
It lacks the features of a “real” drone, but come on, look at it – what can you expect from something that small? The fact that it flies at all is amazing to me. The remote control works but is VERY poorly laid out – some of the functions require pressing multiple controls simultaneously and the button layout makes that all but impossible without having a third arm. It holds its altitude extremely well but not it’s position, drifting sideways no matter how much you adjust it’s control trim. It also takes collisions and falls like a champ, shrugging them off effortlessly. The blade guards help a lot, but it can still sometimes catch a prop on something because of how it drifts with no control input. Fortunately, the props are so small that none of them have been damaged so far, even during collisions with hard objects. Battery life is great for something that small that can fly and charges up in a half-hour or so.

Fun while it lasted
It flew easily, was easy to control but only lasted a couple of weeks and then stopped working. Not very durable.

Super fun drone, if it works.
This drone was super fun to fly around the house. My 2 year old son loved it and would say “Drone” every night and we would sit on the couch and fly it around.Unfortunately it no longer will hold a charge. You plug it in and it lights up red like it’s charging and after awhile you turn it on and connect it to the controller it will fly but drop within seconds and start blinking. I would recommend looking for something with replaceable batteries.

Solid Little Drone
This is a pretty rugged little drone, able to take a beating and keep on flying! It’s quick and maneuverable, and boasts headless mode and a collection of stunts it can do at the push of a combination of buttons, along with one button takeoff and landing. Is it small enough to fit your pocket? Yes. Should it be put in your pocket? I wouldn’t recommend doing that, though it comes with extra propellers if you do and break one. It looks like something out of a movie, and to be clear: the lens on the front is not a camera, it is a light so you know where the front is. It’s rechargeable, so there is no removeable battery in the drone itself. This is a great starter drone for a younger person, or a good “buzz around the office and torment your coworkers” drone. I mentioned that it’s maneuverable… it’s very responsive, and once you get the feel for it you can really zip around obstacles. It has two speed modes, the higher of which not only increases speed but also increases banking capability, which tightens your maneuvering. It’s a fun drone to fly, and a good choice.
