Arrived a day later than expected but was in no real hurry, TV was in new condition with a great picture and all of the apps as advertised.. I saved a good bit of money buying it through Amazon.. over all I’m satisfied..

Was Concerned At First
When I initially turned the TV on I was not happy with the picture quality at all. I’m not sure if the screen needed to warm up or have a break in type of period but the picture improved overwhelmingly throughout the first night of use. Overall I’m very happy with the picture quality and TV overall. It was odd that I needed to have an internet connection in order to get started (setup) and actually begin using the TV. I see how that could be an issue for someone. I guess that’s what you get for buying a “smart” TV.

We bought two tclâs, one from amazon and one from Walmart. Incredibly happy with both! Theyâve held up without issue for 8 months now. Great 4K tv for the price and RoKu is a big plus as well.

Review for Refurbished product from VIPOUTLET
Described as “GRADE A refurbished in Like New Condition that has NO cosmetic defects, blemishes, dents, scratches or signs of age. Refurbished products have been restored to meet manufacturer quality standards.”The screen was partially outside of the tv frame, that eventually caused it to break — noticed only when *pop*, it fractured, outside of the warranty period. I doubt that kind of assembly qualifies as Like New or the manufacturer’s quality standards, but a problem from the refurbished(refurbisher). So this refurbished product is a non-repairable, few hundred dollar piece of garbage (literally, screen can’t be replaced and components can’t be reused per repair shop). I would not recommend the refurbished (refurbisher) product. I will now only deal with those sold by Amazon for buyer protection.

Will not last more than a few years.
I bought two of these through Black Friday two years ago. Both of the TV’s stopped working within 30 days of each other. The screens just go black. So, the hardware for the picture is really bad. And, given it went out in just two years on both pretty much sets the standard. And, no support for the extended warranty.Not excellent quality picture either. The remotes don’t have good features. Waste of money. Buy a different brand than TCL.

Must have internet to set up but good TV
First off it can not be set up without internet. I had to use hotspot on phone just to set it up so I could watch. For the same reason I could not connect to my local network. The TV detects it but will not use it because of no internet. So you cannot mirror without internet either for the most part, if you want it to stay connected . I have to use my bluray to cast to tv. I use over the air antenna for tv and it works great for that. Beautiful picture. I really do not like roku remotes but can get used to that. To cable audio out you have to use headphone jack. The sound is better on the wall than table because of where the speakers are mounted. Only three HDMI ports.It has good wifi range…sometimes connects to neighbors wifi across the street and down one. I had absolutely no problems with shipper. It took a week but they called the day before to make sure someone would be home and called half an hour before showing up. There was a little damage to box. So, if you have internet and only use HDMI devices you will love this for the price. It has only one USB port. You can either use it as a media player or to be able to pause,fast forward or rewind over the air tv. This shows that tv could actually have a built in DVR some day. Overall it was a good deal for the price.

It appears that I may have given a wrong rating mostly because I did not find the Remote, stands and Power cord which was tapped firmly to the packaging box. I went and looked again after the response from seller and was able to find it. the TV works just perfectly.
