This tv has a nice picture, but it’s completely slow with the remote. Did all the things to try and speed it up, worked a little bit, but still slower reaction from the remote if it works, then any other smart tv in the house. And don’t get me wrong, bought a fire tv for my office and love it, bit bought this one for our living room, and it’s just a waste of money…

Decent value 4k TV. I like the fire amazon TVs, easy to use, connect well with all the apps, good voice remote.Bought this for my game room. Has decent sound, picture is nice, not super heavy.In comparison I have a $2,200 samsung tv for my family room and yes it’s much nicer, but also 4 times the price almost.Like this TV for the price, quality, ease of use.Would NOT buy as my main TV. Isn’t good enough for that. Stutters on fast motion. Is just mediocre. Good for a value game room TV.

Just get it setup. Overall it looks great. Tried 4k videos, picture quality are great.Tested the FireTV OS, I like it. It supports all the function I needed such as bluetooth. amazon voice control remote works great.I’m surprised to see lots of free TV channels from TCL TV. Not sure if it will always be free.For now I’m satisfied. But not sure if it can last. Will update after few months usage.

Good replacement, but…
HDMI CEC does not work well. I could barely get it to work with my DVD. Didn’t even seem like TCL knew their own product to be honest. If you have a TiVo forget it, I tried shorter HDMIs with the TiVo but it’s still wouldn’t turn it on when the TV switch to it’s input HDMI. If you have two devices plan on using three remotes just to get the job done. Or if you can somehow manage a universal. Programming my TiVo remote I couldn’t find any remote code that would work with the ‘input button.’ I can control volume and power! I’m assuming this will be the same for any universal remote. I guess you’ll have use Alexa to change inputs! The brightness on the TV is exceptional. Actually I have to dial it back a little. Some cases it’s too bright. I noticed that they also dial back the Netflix app resolution. This is disappointing because it gets kind of grainy if you’re only paying for the HD. Like literally the app is running itself less than HD. Which causes the picture to suffer. The app itself should be running at 4K and stretch picture as required. At least prime video doesn’t do this issue thankfully! If you are familiar with FireTV stick. It is a pretty simple setup, especially if you have other FireTv sticks.
