Neater Pets started in 2009 with the invention of the Neater Feeder. Seeing spilled food and water all around dog bowls, we came up with a cleaner, better way to feed pets. Since then, we’ve expanded to bring pet lovers even more solutions to everyday pet life.

SLOWS DOWN EATING: The Niner features nine peaks that create small individual pockets for food. By separating the food into smaller servings, this bowl prevents gulping and overeating, which will reduce bloat, vomiting, choking, and indigestion. FITS INSIDE OF LARGE NEATER FEEDERS: Insertable slow feed bowl can be used inside of the Neater Feeder Express Medium to Large size, Neater Feeder Deluxe Large size, and most other 2-quart raised pet bowl holders. The Niner holds up to 2 cups of food comfortably (for best results, do not overfill) and measures 8.38” across the top, 7.43” at the base, and 2.44” tall.
NON-SKID BOTTOM FOR USE OUTSIDE OF FEEDERS: You can also use The Niner without a raised feeder. The bottom of the bowl has anti-skid rubber dots that will keep the bowl in place as your pet eats.

Great for big dogs!
We have a boxer and if you have one, you know they eat fast. I got this for our boxer dog and now sheâs eating a little less fast. I do recommend it if you are looking for something to slow your dog from eating fast. And it is less spills.

Helps to slow my dog down
My dog was having stomach issues so I split up his meal to twice a day and started using the slow feeder. It helped. This slow feeder washed well on the top rack of my dishwasher.

Mixed feelings
When my pup was small, I flipped it over and used one side. As she got older I used the main side. It fits in the bowl of my standing feeding station but it rattles when she’s eating because it’s not a tight fit. The bowl works, I just don’t like that her mouth looks swollen and full of saliva. She has saliva all over her face. My puppy no longer uses this bowl, just eats out of a normal one now.

great slower downer / second style I’ve purchased BEST by far
The other slow feeder that I purchased didn’t slow the feeding time down like I thought it should. I had seen this feeder at same time I purchased the 1st one so I decided to purchase this slow feeder as it looked like it was designed different. This feeder has extended the length of eating time mmensely. Great feeder. I had never used a slow feeder before so wasn’t sure what to buy. I would recommend this feeder over any designs that I looked at.

Dog ends up chasing this dish all over the kitchen. Way to lightweight could use some real beer around bottom to try and hold in one place.

Poor design
The design of this bowl is a problem as the depressions are very shallow and the food just sits on top. Not enough of a challenge to slow down an aggressive eater. It is sturdy and can be cleaned in the dishwasher but the tiny little sticky dots on the bottom DO NOT keep it stuck to the floor and some have already come off. I am using in a feeder stand but due to its poor design it is the last bowl I use when all others are dirty
