Simple to set up and reliable
I have extensive home automation. These plugs were easy to configure and have been very stable in maintaining a connection to the wifi network (using Google Nest Wifi Pro). Unlike other smart plugs I have used, they do not go offline and are quick to respond.The Tapo app is very good and the integration to Google Home is surprisingly solid.I did try to use these with Matter and Google Home without setting up via the Tapo app, but Google Home was not working well. I’m attributing this to a Google issue at this point. Setting it up as a Matter device to Google Home did work well, but the connectivity after configuration did not. Once I set up it in a more traditional way using the Tapo app and Google Home integration, it’s been highly stable.

Great overall
Overall, I love these. I use them for the lights over my plants, and lights in our living room (because there’s no light switch in the room). I’ve had no issues setting these up in the past, but for some reason lately, anytime I try to add one, it refuses to connect to wifi until I go into my router’s setting and change our 2.4Ghz network’s channel. After that, it connects almost instantly. I want to knock a star off for that, but it’s possible that’s an issue with our router, not these plugs.The Tapo app is really easy to use, and makes it simple to set the plugs on a schedule. You can choose either set times to turn the plugs on and off, or go based off sunrise and sunset. It’s also easy to set up a routine so multiple plugs turn on/off at the same time (this is what we do for out living room). This can also be done in the Google Home app, but I like the interface through the Tapo app better. Will definitely be buying more of these or other Tapo products!

Great Matter plugs for the price!
I was unsure what to expect from these as I typically bought the 2nd Gen Leviton smart plugs, but I didn’t want to wait for the delayed shipping nor did I want to pay about the same price for one as I did for a 3 pack. I’m overall glad I chose these. The setup was easy and I have yet to lose connection with any. This is not a criticism as I knew this when I bought them but I do wish they offered a matter over thread option as well. I would like to reduce to amount of things on the wifi network and will try to use thread moving forward. With that said these are great and for the price you can’t beat them.

Reliability issues.
I honestly question the reliability of these switches. I brought 6 of them. About 4 months into using them they started to go offline. Once that happens you have to reset them and go thru the setup process again. That starting to become really annoying because it happens more often. There’s no way of forcing a reconnect to the plugs from the Google app (or the Tapo). I’m hoping this might be address with a firmware or application update.Within 6 months, I had two of two of switch stop working. One of them just started continuously clicking and I couldn’t reset or shut it off. The other would not connect via matter. It only now connects and works with the Tapo app. I can’t get Google to see it. I’ve unplugged it, done hard resets, I’ve deleted from Tapo app and Google Home. Nothing worked.Shame the system starting off working perfectly. It a shame it didn’t last.

I actually ordered this product from the US site, which is $20 cheaper even including the $9 import fee. But Aamazon couldn’t deliver for unknown reason. So I ordered it from the CA site and it arrived the next day. Well, a little pricey. I already own 2 TP Link Tapo Cam and 1 older generation plug. So, set up is easy for me. Just took a while to find out its model name is P125M. After searching for Wifi and entering the password, the plug was already set up. The mandatory firmware update, took 2 minutes to complete. Not bad. One star off because its fat body design blocks 3 sockets!!
