Exactly what my senior cat needed
My old guy doesnât jump well, but he loves having a high perch. His old tree was taller, but he couldnât get to the top of it without our help, so we swapped it out for this one. Heâs so happy to be able to walk up to each level! He has a little trouble getting to the perch at the top, but can do it by himself.He also loves the spacing of the posts on the lower level. He can scratch one with his front paws while kicking another with his back, which he thinks is tons of fun.This tree is very sturdy and was easy to put together, except that there werenât instructions, just a diagram. So I had to put a little thought into the order in which I should assemble. Not a big deal.

I bought this tree because I noticed my elderly kitty, Binky, started routinely using my desk to get to the top of his tree. His old tree was a hand-me-down from my sister’s cat who never used it (pictured in 2nd photo). So I figured maybe it’s time to finally buy a new one that will be easy for him to climb.My 4 stars is because the top bit was squished in the box so it looks lopsided. It’s not hard material like the old tree and I think this contributes to why my boy won’t lay in it. I reckon he feels unsafe with the soft, easily moveable sides. It was also annoying to assemble because I had to go by a picture from 1 angle and it didn’t offer actually directions. There is always a correct order to assemble pieces and if I don’t have directions, I ALWAYS do it wrong and it requires me to basically take the whole thing apart and build it a second time. Which is what happened here.Aside from this though, it’s very stable unlike the old one. And the material is very soft and both my cats love the scratch posts. Binky, however, was very upset with me for moving his old tree into my bedroom and the new one where the old one used to be. He raised absolute h*ll for about a week until I decided to compromise. I put the new one next to his old one so he use the steps to climb in. Which he almost always does so yay!In the end, I more or less was able to use this for the original intent. Neither of my cats want to lay in the bed part which is a shame. My other cat Deedee did lay in it until I put the old one back. I really wish the sides of the bed where like a hard material with the soft stuff on top so it would keep its shape. I think they just think they will fall out of the sleep in it.So yeah. 4/5 from me. 0/5 for Binky. Maybe 1 for the stairs

Perfect for senior cats
I absolutely love this cat tree. Its perfect for senior cats who can’t really jump as high, so they use the “stair-like” steps to climb. Assembly was a little challenging, but once its together, boy does is it feel sturdy! My cats are fairly small, weighing in at about 12 pounds. The cat bed on the top fits them pretty well. If you have a bigger cat the bed may be a bit small, so keep that in mind. Just read the measurements- it’s exactly as described.

This is NOT 12.7âx12.7â. Itâs 18.5âx18.5â. Seems pretty sturdy but I bought this for a particular spot that it 16âx16â. This doesnât fit. I will use it in a different spot but very disappointed! I still have nothing for the area I intended for this perch. Wasted my money!!!

Tower NOT designed for older cats.
Putting tower together is like putting a puzzle together. No real instructions. Tower advertised to assist older cats. But the tower is not sturdy enough to securely hold the weight of an adult cat. My cat a little over 10 pounds, makes the whole tower shake when she gets to the top. The top where your cat can sit is extremely small and can not fit or hold her body. Worse purchase ever. Go back to pet store to select a tower for your cat. Don’t waste time or money on this product.

Great cat tree for cats who have trouble jumping
We got this cat tree because it more like stairs so our cats can get up on the counter to get to their water. They are getting older and having trouble jumping that high. they took to it right away. They sometimes sit int he bed but they dont like it being so open. if it was in a corner they would use the bed more. I bought it for the stairs and they use it.The instructions could be better. They didn’t have a picture of the finished product in the instructions so i got the photo from amazon and it was a lot easy to put together with a picture of the whole thing. it took no more than 15 minute to put together. 1 allen wrench was needed and they included one.

Les miens ont un certain âge et ils aiment emprunter les petites supports en escalier principalement pour descendre.Le plateau central est un bon support qu’ils aiment aussi pour se détendre ou jouer.Cet arbre à chats est assez grand mais pas trop grand. Un conseil : bien prendre les mesures de la place réservée à cette installation ce qui n’est pas toujours évident mais qui offre entièrement satisfaction si l’espace convient.Dernier détail : le couchage du haut permet aux chats de s’y installer confortablement. Il convient à un chat de grande taille.
