I wish an extension wasn’t needed for us with a larger frame, however if we have to have one at least it’s nice. Same quality as the basic tushbaby, easy to attach, easy on and off, and nice price comparatively to the entire product.

Perfect for a larger fit
I got the extender as my postpartum body isnât bouncing back the way it did with my first! It allows me to comfortably, yet still snuggly carry baby on the tush. I love how the extender clips into it in conjunction with the clips, so it feels like a seemless part of design. Youâre still able to roll it up, albeit being bulkier, for easy transport and storage. The extender helps give every member of the family a chance to wear baby!

helps with the velcro
So, the existing tushbaby fits me but the way the velcro is designed the grippy side comes into contact with my clothing and pulls at it, causing snags, etc.This is the reason I bought the extender and this solves that issue for me personally. My wife is considerably smaller than me though so that means we have to take the extender off if she wants to use it.But, it connects well and functions well.
