Not compatible with canon eos rebel t6
Not sure if Iâm missing pieces but this lense is not compatible with the eos rebel t6.The adapter and lense itself is too small at the connection. I was excited for this product but definitely disappointed wanting a refund
Dani Bennett –
Good lens for the price
Great lens for the price. Just takes some practice & a good tripod to get the manual focus down & capture clear photos. Definitely not for low light situations.

Good
The mount does not fit on the lens, but it fits my camera body.

The superzoom winner
This is a big surprise in the world of superzoom lenses. Yes is a refractor telescope type lens but for whoever is into big superzoom photography, whether a beginner or an old salt you will find it extremely qualified. The kit is a money saver since you have all the bells and whistles included. Very competent craftsmanship!

Manual focus…no auto or image stabilization.
As you can see from the last picture taken with a regular mobile phone, the eagles were only tiny dots to the naked eye. You can get a decent magnification with this lens and for viewing/identifying objects it is ok. The image quality i just could not get a decent picture with though. I had it mounted on a heavy duty tripod (circa 1950s) and was using a remote to reduce shake, I was also adjusting shutter speed and ISO….just could not get it to focus quite enough for clear images. I might try sandbagging the camera, as even the shutter going off will cause noticeable shake. Since this was a package deal, I found the lens to be less than what i had hoped for (and my expectations were realistic knowing it was manual/without stabilization). The camera bag was nice (probably would have spent 25 to 30 dollars for that) and the adaptor included (another 10 dollars) was nice. The 2X add on is not worth trying, as 2X means 2X camera shake and 2X image clarity issues. Oh, and let’s not even talk about the included tripod…that might go in the recycle bin since I don’t think I would even put my tiny Canon Powershot on that. I think if I put this monster 650mm hunk of glass on this flimsy piece of aluminum, it would fold up like origami…yeesh. Oh well, all in all I kind of figured that spending 150 dollars on a lens vs 1000 dollars on a lens would make a difference…lesson learned. I will keep trying with different settings and heavier stabilization, but I have my doubts.

The manual says the lens is fully automatic which is not. Also, the product came without the 2x converter.
