Big buttons for those like me with disability or “fat fingers”. Took less than 1 minute to program with the 1st code tried. All the buttons not regularly needed are hidden under a sliding panel -brilliant design.I was worried from other posts about sluggish behavior – with my QLED 75″ I don’t see any delay.See the picture I uploaded – this remote is perfect for me with arrows, ok, Home, and back buttons which many bigbutton remotes don’t have.

Directions are not complete.
I like the size of the remote, it fits nicely in the hand, the buttons are large enough and it works with my TV. The directions leave a lot to be desired. I spent 10 minutes trying to find the buttons to input the code for my TV. Thanks to another reviewer who posted pictures, I discovered the buttons are behind a sliding panel. Who knew! For a device marketed to elderly (read NOT electronics savvy) youâd think they could include that little nugget in the instructions.

I purchased this remote to give to my elderly mother who has trouble using traditional TV remotes. I based that on this remote having large buttons and a simple design. I was also looking for a “learning” remote so I could just program the essential functions she only needed. This remote was perfect. However…Flaw #1 – for a learning remote, it’s horrible to program. The instructions are as clear as mud. From what I can figure, when you want to program a button, you have to press the button on the original remote first so this remote sees it, release and press it again. Then press the button you want programmed with that function. This is not clearly explained. I think the sensor used to “read” the original remote is poorly placed, because you end up trying different angles to get the remote to read it. I’ve programmed many learning remotes before and this one is by far the worse.Flaw #2 – this is a 2 device remote, but to switch between the two devices is not user friendly. You have to press the red or green power button PLUS the up arrow button at the same time to switch. For someone with limited mobility, like someone elderly, this can be very awkward or confusing.
