Easy to install. Easy to use. Great range!
Used this receiver to add Bluetooth to a legacy NuTone home intercom base station. Worked like a charm!A few things stood out to me about this product:- INSTRUCTIONS… In addition to a small manual, they actually reprint the installation and pairing instructions on the inside of the box. Both the manual and product box direct you to contact the custom support line (which you will likely never need to use).- RANGE… After installation, I paired my phone and took it to the farthest point in the house from the receiver, with no interruption in streaming. I chose this receiver because of the two antennas, and it did not disappoint.- ACCESSORIES… The receiver ships with cables to connect any way you need.Final note: be aware that 1Mii also makes a TRANSMITTER that looks EXACTLY THE SAME as this receiver. For my application (streaming to a sound system), I needed the receiver and had to return the unit that mistakenly bought initially.I highly recommend this product.

Once Connected It Sounds Great
I replaced a previous Bluetooth receiver I used with an older but great sounding stereo. I finally figured out the old Bluetooth Receiver was occasionally dropping out one channel – That was very aggravating (no it wasn’t the audio cable, I replaced that first, nor was it the stereo).I plugged in the new Bluetooth Receiver and attempted to pair it with my iPhone. Then I got out the tiny manual that covers three different receivers. It gave instructions for resetting the receiver (you push and hold simultaneously the two top rear buttons until the unit glows purple. Then I had no trouble pairing with my iPhone.By the way I plugged the included power supply into the Stereo’s switched AC power jack and that way I just turn on and off the stereo. Even sitting powered off overnight, when switched back on it automatically re-paired with my iPhone.The Good:It works perfectly and sounds great.It appears to also have a digital optical and digital RCA output which I did not need or use.Incudes it’s own USB power supply (this is getting rare).Desperately needs Improvement:Shipping the unit with a tiny almost unreadable manual that covers three completely different models is absurd! How many cents did you save with the tiny 3 in one pamphlet? It was infuriating!Could Use Improvement:I am not a fan of the little stereo jack instead of two RCA plugs. They did include the adapter cable, though. To me that’s a little inconvenient and looks cheap.

Good Design
This is my 3rd 1Mii product. I keep coming back because they have a good build quality and they just work seamlessly without any hassle. They are well-designed.For this unit in particular, it is a huge benefit that it has an actual (and easy to access) power on/off button. I have an iPhone, which by design, automatically reconnects to bluetooth devices, even after telling the iPhone to disconnect from them, and/or the switching the audio output on the iPhone to a different output (such as the internal speaker). This causes audio (alerts, phone calls, etc.) to sometimes route to the an undesired output device. I have missed important texts and calls because the alert goes to some bluetooth device that I wasn’t aware the phone was connected to. In particular, my car is a problem with this.On the iPhone end, the only way to stop this is to manually tell the phone to forget the device. This is a pain because you then have to go through all the steps to pair to the device when you want to re-connect. This all is bad design on Apple’s part.Whit this 1Mii device, all I have to do is press the power button to quickly turn it off when I don’t want to use it. When I want to use it, I press the button again to turn it back on and my phone automatically reconnects to it. The power button is large and is easy to access.This device also does not automatically go in to pairing mode when it is turned on, it stick with the last (two) devices it has been paired with. This prevents strangers from connecting to it.I was looking at a similar device from another manufacturer, however that one did not have any buttons on it, so you have to disconnect the power to turn it off. That would be a show-stopper for iPhone users.Glad I got the 1Mii unit.

I’m using it for more than 1 year now, works perfectly fine, the sound quality is very good, top built quality, easy to use, no disconnections.Really recommend.

This unit was easy to instal and pair with the iPhone. I used the toslink to the amplifier of my ancient but high quality Pioneer Hi-Fi. It worked first time and produced high fidelity sound in keeping with the system. There has been no dropping out and pairing new devices is a doddle. I had tried a cheaper unit previously but there was introduced noise and the sound quality was poor so I am delighted with the new receiver. Great value.
