Our first baby was so uncomfortable in a Graco infant seat and cried every drive. So we decided to go with this higher quality car seat for our second baby and it does not disappoint! The base is very user friendly and easy to instal. The car seat feels very comfortable for baby. Itâs easy to click in and out of the base. Itâs lightweight and has lots of ventilation. I like that the sun shade extends if needed- thatâs something that wouldâve been very useful for our first baby. I appreciate that the handle bar is NOT plastic and can be positioned forward while in the car for added safety. This car seat is on the smaller side, but all the padding can be removed and the head piece easily adjusts up and down to grow with baby. Really cool feature! Weâre extremely happy with this car seat and I would highly recommend it!

Beautiful!
I have been eyeing this since I found out I was pregnant. Once I found out we were having another boy this was the color I decided on. I have always been a Graco mom but decided to splurge a little, since it is our last baby.This car seat does not disappoint. I still have a few weeks to go until his arrival but wanted to be prepared.My first thought was the box is heavy. After taking it out though I realized it is a very light weight car seat. I like that the canopy comes down so far and the color is beautiful.This seems like a very sturdy, well made car seat and will keep your little one safe.I look foward to using it.The only disappointment I had was that my box did arrive ripped open, which I was worried about damage but thankfully it was okay!

Lightweight and beautiful
We got this car seat to go with the Uppababy stroller system which we received as a gift. I like that itâs not heavy, fits perfectly into the stroller and was easy to install in the car. We got it in the color Anthony – it is a nice shade of gray and the fabric is very pleasant to touch.

This car seat really is lightweight and makes carrying it so much easier! My baby loves it – he calms right down in it so it must be comfortable. Itâs easy to adjust the harness and adjust the backrest as needed. The fabric is good quality and I love that it is free of fire retardants.

Itâs exactly what I had hoped for. We paired this with the Minu stroller and this is a crazy lightweight combination. The newborn insert worked perfectly from the hospital. The car seat base was also VERY easy to set up. When/if we have another kid, we will buy a second one.

UNSAFE and not user friendly – Very disappointed
We really wanted to like this car seat because we love UPPAbaby products, but it’s a total bust. I’m actually shocked that UPPAbaby made a car seat with so many issues because their other products are great. I’ll list the issues in order of importance.1. The angle and depth of the seat itself are unsafe and pose a suffocation risk. My baby’s head and neck were in an awkward position, and the pediatrician recommended that we use a different car seat.  2. The release lever to remove the car seat from the stroller is impossible to get to. You have to bend down and reach underneath the car seat to pull the grey release lever (photo included). As you can see, the lever is actually underneath the car seat. Horrible design flaw in my opinion.  I actually hurt my back reaching for it because it’s so far underneath the car seat. The Mesa V2 and Mesa MAX have a one-hand release button on the top of the handle which makes releasing the car seat from the stroller a lot easier without having to bend down.3. When we first received the car seat, we tested it out on our Cruz. When removing the car seat from the stroller, one side sticks, and you have to wrestle with it to get it off the stroller. I uploaded a video of my husband removing the car seat from our Cruz stroller. As you can see, it was a struggle. We thought it would loosen up over time, but it didn’t. Imagine trying to wrestle the car seat from the stroller with a newborn in it. Yikes!4. The tab to adjust the headrest sits on the top of the headrest. When the headrest is extended to the highest position, the tab is pushing up against the mesh holes in the canopy (photo included) and it looks like it will tear the canopy over time.In conclusion, I would stay away from this car seat until they redesign it and fix its flaws. I recommend the Mesa V2, Mesa MAX, or a Nuna car seat.

Great car seat!
I am so happy we had purchased the Aria car seat since it is so light and compact. We get lots of compliments on the color (Gwen). At first I was a little worried about the size, but when our daughter was born at 5lbs 12oz I was very glad we had a smaller seat because she fit perfectly inside the infant insert, and we also didnât have to push our passenger seat up too far for the seat to fit inside the car. Once you get the hang of it, fitting the straps is easy and installing the base is quick and straight forward. Overall, very happy that the seat will grow with us!
