Great, compact docking station (and even better customer service)
I am SO glad I found this docking station! I recently got a second monitor for my MacBook Pro, so I consequently needed a method to be able to use dual 4K monitors with it. After doing a ton of research online comparing various docks, I came up with this one. After using it for about a month, my left monitor decided it wouldn’t turn on through the dock. After a discussion with the customer service team, they sent me a replacement for no charge, and I haven’t had any issues since! They responded quickly and effectively, so if you for some reason have any issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to them.As far as the dock itself goes, it has completely decluttered my desk. Instead of having to plug in four different things (including dongles) into my laptop, it is now just a single cord via dual USB-C/thunderbolt plug. I have both monitors, speakers, mouse and keyboard, and an external hard drive plugged into it, and it works flawlessly. It looks nice and matches my space gray laptop, too. I can’t recommend it enough!The only thing I wish it had was non-slip pads on one of the long sides rather than just the short side, so that I can decide whether I want to lay it on its side or upright.

Product worked great.Purchased Nov 29, 2023 – Review Nov 13, 2024.The reason it gets two stars and not zero, is the 12 months this worked (9 flawlessly).Easy setup, 2, screen extension with speaker system through pl.Nine months in, screens started causing problems, initially once a week, then once a day until it became every time reconnecting after returning to desk. Screens would not be recognized by dock until restart.Twelve months in, pl output (sound) not working, screen extensions not working, USB hub not working.If a year seems reasonable to you, then consider this a 5 star review. Otherwise, spend more or research better.-Updated Dec 3, 2024Customer support reached out letting me know the warranty is valid for 2 years. The immediately sent out a new device, which is working perfectly.I appreciate companies that stand behind their products. And Tobenone have really impressed me.

When hooking up to an M3 for the first time, the light on the front of the unit started flashing, as did the monitor connected through it, and the keyboard. The only way to seem to get it to function was to unplug the USB C power feeding the device. The macbook was disabling the ports with power connected. It seems that some of the ports are working, and some are not. But with no power boost, I am not sure how well it will support the monitors on it.UPDATE: I was given a full refund for the device and adjusted my overall rating up because of that. I would still not recommend this for an M3, but for an M1 it works very well
