Great but didnât fit Dodge Ram
Unfortunately this didnât quite fit my husbandâs Dodge Ram crew cab back seat. We could have made it work with some finagling but chose to return it. Otherwise it seemed like a very sturdy and functional cover.

I have a 17-pound terrier (see image) who is an absolute terror in the car. Before I got this he wouldn’t sit still and kept walking around the front and back, including on my lap. My final straw was when he somehow managed to change my car into neutral while I was driving. It was at that point that I decided I needed a doggy hammock and I looked at soooo many on Amazon. Eventually I ended up picking this one and am really glad that I did.Pros:- Easy to install. This is very easy to both install and uninstall as needed. Everything is a clip and easy to use.- Secure. It has 4 over headrest straps, 2 straps for the handles, and 2 anchors that slide in between the seat cushions. In particular, I really like the anchors, not all the doggy hammocks I looked at had these and I love them.- Comes with doggy seatbelt. This has a seatbelt clip on one end and a leash clip on the other. It stays very securely attached. I attach it to my dogs harness every time we go anywhere. This way I don’t have to worry about him jumping around the car or out the window.- Easy to clean. Most of the time I can just take it out and dump/dust it out and then put it back in. I have also spot cleaned it a couple times, which worked well. I think it’s machine washable but haven’t had to do that yet.- Durable. I have had this almost 5 months with regular use, including daily for the past month or so, and it’s in great shape. There aren’t any terrors in the fabric and the straps remain tight. My dog spends a lot of time sitting in the middle with off the seat with his paws up on the fabric and it’s held up great.- Good looking. A lot of these that I looked at had these dashes of color (often bright orange) and I didn’t want that. I really like that it is just black. I most often just leave it in my car all the time and you can’t tell unless you are really looking.Cons:- One of the zippers slips a bit. The zipper on the side of the right window slips down a bit, but not all the way down. I don’t know if it’s just like slipping or if my dog is standing on it when he looks out the window.- Center fabric section kind of short. Where it goes between the 2 front seats is kind of short, my dog easily jumped over it. But it came with a seatbelt clip, which solved this problem.

Dog Seat Cover….. Great product – saved my seats
We recently traveled across the US from AZ to Florida and back again (12/2021). Purchased this seat cover to protect the back seat from dog hair, nails and any others issues that may have presented with such a long road trip. Can’t say enough good things about this product – very easy to install, wipe clean if need be & had a pocket in the front for doggy bags, leashes, or other travel items (kept handy, right by the door) for doggy stops. Also the mesh center has a zipper for pups that like to visit Mom/Dad or you need to reach to the back. The mesh was great for allowing ventilation and air flow to the back seat as well. We drove a Hyundai Sante Fe & it fit as if it was custom. Cars of this size will fit perfectly. Would highly recommend & have continued to use often. Update – 1/2023 – still have this seat cover – we actually just keep it in the back seat fulltime as we use it so often for our dogs. Seat cover “still” in great shape (no tears or wear showing). Still able to keep clean and wipe down! Would continue to highly recommend!

Itâs easy to use! It fits my car, holds well, and seems well made. Although, I wish it had some way of covering more when itâs hanging on the seats then laying down to the trunk, in an open space, as I have two big labs. However, it fits them with the seats up as well, it just gets a bit tighter for them. Love it!

A absolutely great idea, butâ¦.
My dog tends to get sick in the car. So the premise of using this product and being able to take it out and wash it in the washing machine sounded awesome. Today was the second time I used it in the car. Unfortunately my dog got sick on it, so I took it and put it in the clothes washer for the first time.When I went to go hang it out to dry I immediately see that the stitching has come apart on one of the zipped sides. So durability wise, I have my doubts about it. Still, it did keep me from having to clean puke off of my leather seats today, so there is that. ðð»

I recently ordered this Dog Hammock for our Tesla Model Y after purchasing many from local pet stores that were not fitting the car properly.So far, so good. It fits the CUV sized back seat well. I loosened the loops around the driver and passenger headrest to keep the loops on the back seat tight so the hammock doesn’t ride down with the dogs movement. He likes to sit against the back seat. The antislip feature seems like it works well. The mesh on the front allows the backseat to receive air movement which is nice, and provides a view to the backseat well. I really like the zipper on the side flaps to keep the door protected.The package arrived missing two pieces – the straps to hold the side flaps up. I emailed the company and they provided a very quick response and confirmed they would send the missing pieces to the address we will arrive to in Ontario. Good customer service. Will update the review once these are received and how they function for the hammock.The hammock seems quite durable. The material is not too thin. It did smell quite bad when I first inserted it. I used some sage in the car and the smell isn’t an issue anymore.We are driving from BC to Ontario, leaving tomorrow. We have a 90 lb Boxer/Bullmastiff. Will update the review atthe end of our journey regarding water resistance, durability etc.
