Perfect!
Iâm using these for the lights above my garage. For safety purposes, I leave the lights on at night, but the problem is sometimes I forget to turn them on, and on the other side I forget to turn them off when I go to work. Easy solution for day/ Night switched light

I love these things. They work well. My front light is under a porch of the apartments above mine, but it doesn’t turn on during the day even so. It’s great to have a light on when I leave in the morning (dark) and when I come back at night (dark again), and not have it on during the day. I would suggest, if you’re in my situation, turning it off overnight — many important insects are greatly affected by light pollution, and if you don’t need the outside light on at night it’s best to turn it off.

Excellent sensor
I had an old-style dusk-to-dawn sensor screwed in between the bulb and the socket, and it stayed on all day, probably because it is under a tree. The sensor was only about 4 years old. I replaced the bulb and sensor with this integrated product and it has worked perfectly. It comes on right at the end of dusk. It’s off shortly after sunrise and stays off all day. Wow, the technology sure has improved a lot in the last few years.

I bought these for the porch and garage light at my former house last August. These are wonderful bulbs. I sometimes would forget to turn my outdoor lights by my entrance on before leaving home. I did have sensor lights at one time but they were not always reliable. I would recommend these lights, they are true to their description. They have on a Dusk and off at Dawn.
