Mixes well, no taste effect, great label info
After doing my research on collagen types and benefits, I was specifically looking for a clearly labelled collagen product that told what types of collagen it contained and this has 5 types. I mix a scoop in my morning coffee. This mixes very well, no clumps, no residual powder/grit at the bottom of the cup and no effect on the taste of the coffee. So many related products provide only mcg or mg (micro & milligrams) versus grams so this provides more types and more levels of collagen than so many others.

This is my third canister. I had achy knees and had tried glucosemine products but that never seemed to help so someone suggested collagen to me. In reviewing what collagen is and does I discovered this product and since it contained all 5 collagens and was reasonable priced I thought I would try it out. It seems to work, I haven’t noticed my knees being as aching but I never had an everyday ache only once in a while so it is hard to tell if it is helping for that but I can say I haven’t noticed them being aching for quite awhile. But I have noticed that my hair and nails grow like crazy. My nails seem stronger too. SO it appears to work and for the price I have chosen to continue to take it. I do have to say it was probably mid way through the second canister before I noticed a difference in anything so you do have to give it time. It is flavor less so mixes well, I typically put it in my morning coffee and stir it in with no problem but I have also just shaken up in a bottle of water.

Once its dissolved, its good!
I’ve tried several collagen powders in the past year or so. Upon opening the jar, I noticed a strange dairy-like/cheesy smell. I expected some smell, but I was kind of put off by it, to be honest. When I added the scoop of powder, it didn’t immediately dissolve into the hot beverage like some of the others I’ve used in the past. It blends in quickly but does require some stirring. Once this was fully blended, I didn’t notice the taste or smell.I liked that it came with a scoop that accurately measures a serving size. The scoop wasn’t hard to find as it was mostly on the top of the product. With collagen, I’ve noticed my nails are stronger and my hair seems to be growing quicker than usual. I’ll continue to use the products for the entire month, in hopes for stronger bones, nails, and hair.

It does what itâs supposed to
Itâs what it claims to be. Though itâs is very noticeable when you drink it, not from a flavor, but it adds a texture. I try to shoot it in a cool beverage because itâs gross, but itâs medicinal. It takes a while to dissolve, Iâm sure itâs faster in a warm/hot beverage, but Iâm not going to sip this stuff.

Itâs mostly my issue.
I gave it a 3 because itâs my issue I guess…Itâs not horrible but Iâm a BIG water drinker.. if I put it in my water I can taste it but itâs indescribable. It pretty much taste how it smells in the container. I put it in 20oz Gatorade the next day and it was better because the drink has flavor, however I still faintly tasted the collagen. It may be all in my head knowing I have something in my drink and I smelled the product but if I canât get past it then I canât use it. It may work better with stronger drinks such as coffee and smoothies because of the abundant flavors, but I canât transition from years of drinking water 99% of the time to different beverages for daily consumption. The Gatorade is my rare exception.In cold drinks it does take a bit longer to dissolve but eventually it did. Within 5 minutes there were still bits of it floating but after 16 to 18minutes it was fully dissolved. I was very excited about starting my collagen journey but I just canât get over my issue so I have to return it and try capsules instead. I believe it would work better for those who prefer real drinks before water. This review will only be helpful to major water consumers so donât get discouraged in getting this product if you are open to many different beverages.

Perfect smoothie boost!
I love this collagen powder because itâs unflavored so you can easily add it to anything. I like adding it to my morning drink and it helps me go longer without getting hungry or feeling like my blood sugar dropped. It mixes well but will separate if you let it sit for awhile, but a quick shake or stir gets it right back to a nice texture. A jar lasts a long time!

Easy to mix with morning coffee
I was looking to try a collegen bc I had heard about its so many benefits. I wanted to make sure it had all the types and in the process I came across vitamin bounty, price was reasonable for trying it for the first time. I received it with in a day or so of ordering. I add it to my morning cup of coffee using a frother to combine it. It dissolves perfectly. It makes my coffee creamier, it does change the taste slightly but not in a bad way.
