Perfect for Working Pet Parents!
Works exactly as described with easy to understand settings! The portion sizes are very small so make sure you test how much your pet will be getting. The best part is you donât have to worry about your pet breaking into it! My rowdy Doberman pup knocked it over and tried her best to get inside while I was at work but the lid stayed on! I was super surprised and definitely pleased. This product is sturdy yet lightweight, easy to move around, easy to clean, and it doesnât take up too much space. Definitely worth the money.

great feeder
I decided to get one of these for our dog so I wouldn’t have to keep texting home to make sure he was being fed while I’m out. Set-up is really easy. First you have to set the time of day. then you set the time and portion amount for each meal. There are options to feed 4 times/meals per day. The container holds plenty. Obviously the bigger the animal, the larger the portions.I had to move it already to a better spot and I liked that the programmed info for all the meals was still there after being unplugged. Only the time of day had to be reset. The cord is a good length. It can run on batteries if needed but they are not included. I would add batteries if I were to leave for an extended period in case power goes out.***Always press and hold the lock button to switch to the unlock position to begin setting anything.Love the stainless steel dish which is always the best choice for pets. The portions have all been released perfectly and the machine itself is quiet while dispensing. The sound of the food hitting the steel bowl is what you hear. Its just enough to get their attention. The screen conveniently lights up while in use and then turns off.I bought one the next day for our cat. The cat wont eat the dogs food but the dog will eat the cats food, so the cats feeder had to be put up where the cat lays and the dog cant reach. Both cat and dog have mixed kibble with various sizes, nothing gigantic.I haven’t used the voice recorder yet. Not sure if its needed. They both have heard their meals coming out, and are also pretty aware of their routine feeding schedules so they are close by and wont starve if they don’t hear a voice. lol. This is a great feeder and not super expensive like most are. I did research for quite a while before buying and this one seemed the best for the price, with everything that we needed.I will update if anything goes wrong, as always.

Peace of Mind on the Go
I recently purchased this automatic cat food feeder for the feral cat I regularly feed, and I couldn’t be happier with it! I was traveling for a week and was incredibly worried about the cat’s food supply. This dispenser was a lifesaver. The setup was incredibly easy, and the voice recording feature was a delightful touch. The cat seemed to enjoy the familiar sound of my voice during mealtimes. As an added precaution, I sprinkled some food-grade diatomaceous earth around the base to deter any ants or other unwanted critters. This natural and safe solution worked perfectly!Overall, this product was well worth the investment. It gave me peace of mind while I was away and ensured the cat was well-fed. I highly recommend it to any cat owner, especially those who travel frequently.

Works as described.
Dispenses food at set times as described. Pretty easy set up. Takes a little work to figure out the portion sizes but not a big issue. So far no clogs, very reliable. Again, so far, the clock stays accurate. Although I expect over time it will need some tweaking. My only gripe so far is there is no “OFF” switch. We only use it when we are gone all day or for a few days. I would like to turn it off and then back on when we need it. The only way to do that is unplug it and remove the batteries. One hack is to set all the portions to zero and it won’t try to dispense anything. But the display still operates and uses up battery power.Another gripe is the time setting. I don’t mind a 24 hour clock. But, the display has AM and PM indicators, but there is no way to use them, they never illuminate. All in all, it serves the purpose for us. And the cat.

Automatic cat feeder versus crafty raccoons and opossums.
So I bought this cat feeder for a feral cat that we have tamed up and now is pretty friendly. We feed her on our covered back porch where no rain can reach it. Sometimes we go on trips and I needed a proper way to keep feeding her without asking neighbors to help out. We have our share of raccoons and opossums that sometimes visit the back porch so I put this automatic cat feeder inside an old bird cage. I made few modifications including sawing a small opening out on the base of the bird cage to allow the kibbles to fall into the cat bowl. I also mounted the bird cage to a 3×3 piece of painted plywood and put a few bricks on top of the plywood board. So far it works well and no animals have disturbed the cat feeder. (Added note: I can unclip the bird cage from its green base to add food or make adjustments to the feeding schedule, change batteries, etc.)Things I like about the actual automatic pet feeder itself:1) easy to set up feed times and amounts. I set it to feed the cat once a day at 9:00 am every morning and the food portion amount is set to 11. Itâs probably more food than one cat can eat but I wanted to insure she has enough. A setting of 9 or 10 might be better but you can adjust to your size cat. The trick is really not to leave food out at night that will draw in other animals.2) the cat feeder allows for quite a bit of cat food to be stored in its tank.3). The recording that plays when the food is dispensed is a nice fun touch. Seems a little soft sounding so not sure my cat even hears it if she is off the porch4) I like that you can put three size D batteries as backup if the power goes out and the corded power is unavailable.5) affordable price and fast shipping.6) small enough to fit inside a bird cage. lol. This is our first trip away testing this unit so I am still making adjustments because I know raccoons can reach their paw/hand up inside a certain length so I might have to make the food drop opening harder to reach up inside. I have a camera watching the unit. Will update this review as necessary.

I was sceptical and not sure I needed automatic feeder but as I was unable to get a cat sitter for a short weekend gateway I decided to give this a go. Itâs absolutely brilliant and actually on every day basis adds structure and better feeding routine for my cat. He loves the sound of food popping up and tends to run for every meal now. He also was a bit overweight and is now looking healthier and better having lost few extra grams, which Iâm sure is thanks to better routine and portion control. The container is huge which also means I donât need to worry about storing large cat food bag. So far worked perfectly and never failed to release a feed or get stuck.

Had this for over a year now and it works great. Exactly as described. Has never once failed. We plug it into the wall, but even during power outages, it dispenses food, cuz of the back up batteries. Definitely recommend.

I absolutely love this. It’s a huge relief to be able to leave this for my cat when we go on holidays. It’s never had any issues, never gotten jammed, nothing. I’ve had it for quite a few months now and it’s perfect. I also appreciate that it doesn’t have an app, but it’s all programmed on the feeder’s interface.
