these are great. i had a previous Wahl brand clippers set that lasted me a few years but when i bought it from a navy exchange store, it was damaged. even so, still worked great. had a piece broken off/missing in the middle of the unit near the blades so hair was always getting stuck in it. and i over oiled the blades. but they worked great!iâve been shaving the sides of my head for years now and learned how to give myself a proper fade and make it look nice. i wanted another newer Wahl set because the last one was so good. and these are really good!i actually read the instructions (highly recommend) and learned not to over oil the blades and not to oil them every single time i use them. itâs super easy to use since this just plugs in and the guards snap on. i feel comfortable using them bare/without a guard too (i typically do a 0 to .5 to 1 fade).power level is strong so i never feel like itâs weak or anything. and they are definitely sharp. i do cut my ear on occasion when im not being more precise so be careful! i never notice it overheating but i dont use it for more than 10 mins at a time, and i dont leave it running for more than a minute or two at a time.i also like that it comes with oil and a brush to spread the oil, as well as a stiff brush to brush the hairs out of the blade.the mini razor is great too, i use it for the bikini area exclusively. but iâve found that it snags on the hair and hurts a little so i might recommend oiling it a little more to help with that, and exfoliating the area to the hair is prepped and the skin is free of dead skin.overall, great set and i see this lasting me as long as the last one did, if not longer truthfully. purchase with confidence.

Clippers: despite the economics of the world, Wahl is able to deliver a domestic clipper for under fifty dollars that works just as well now as when I was a kid. It’s a very nostalgic buzz as these clippers (which are basically a knife attached to a giant motor) take my hair off.Trimmer: an imported product, this trimmer is still a fantastic item. With one AA battery it manages to clean up my hairline and reduce my beard with no snagsCase: lame. Nylon bag without enough storage to neatly hold everything. Very good products
As a licensed cosmetologist, who does ALL hair services for free, having a reliable but not expensive set of clippers is vitally important. The large clippers are wonderful; I’ve done about a dozen cuts since receiving them, and each “review” (I always ask for their input) has been glowing: no pinching, no pulling, no pain whatsoever; too, they love the end result of their haircuts. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is that the trimmer seems a bit less than optimal in its performance. I may have to purchase a stronger one. I love that it’s battery-operated for ease of use, but it’s not as strong as needed on a few of my customers.

I have absolutely no experience on how to use it but when I realized I needed this to keep my daughter’s hair neat and always looking great in her pixie cut …I knew it’s a winner.Easy to use, very sharp, read the brochure followed the directions and checked youtube for tips. Saved me lots of $$$$$
My barber jacked up his rates, so I decided to give self barbering a try. If you are thinking the same, please know there is a learning curve so be ready for a little mockage after the first cut. Also, buying a 360 mirror will help a lot. Now my haircuts are good and the money I’ve saved paid for the stuff I bought after 4 cuts. Now I’m doing great and can touch up my hair every few weeks and save the money.

That said, this one is a solid clipper that feels good in hand and feels constructed well. Went with corded because I didn’t want to deal with replacing the batteries (which you will for any rechargeable) down the line. The accessories are good as well except the case, which the designers should have taken more effort… it only has pouches for the clipper and trimmer. All the accessories will be left dangling around : /. Should have added a pouch for paperwork and elastic bands for the rest of the accessories…
