Quality Blade
This blade is super sharp and is the first on Size 30. Really reluctant to use it since I am a home groomer but have several mats I need to get and a 10 just would not do it.

Definitely an upgrade
I have doodles, and Iâm trying to learn to groom them myself. Not because I think it sounds fun but because paying to groom your dogs every two months is expensive! Before buying this blade, I was attempting to use combs on top of a 10 blade. This one works much better- and doesnât struggle as much to slice through that coarse curly hair. Am I a pro yet? Noâ¦but itâs a good start :).

Blade doesn’t work and not the same size as original
The Wahl replacement blade I ordered doesn’t cut on the dog. It goes over the top, pulls but does not cut. I compared them and they are coded the same (Competition Series 30 0.8mm by Wahl USA) but the new blade is somehow defective. It’s also a bit larger than the original blade. I’d like a refund or a replacement. Very disappointed in Wahl, a brand I trusted for quality, for this defective product.

I bought this blade for my Wahl KM2 clippers. The blade that came with them was a number 10 I think and turned out to be completely the wrong blade for general cutting how I was using it. This blade has been much better and has remained sharp after the same number of cuts that blunted the previous blade. Keep it well oiled though and run your clippers slower to keep heat down, that’s the key!

I have been told that Wahl isn’t sharpening these before sending them out, but trusted in the brand name. After one or two uses, it was completly dull. I purchased a Buttercut blade after, and it works SO much better. Super disappointed in the quality from Wahl.
