Bought it to store fishing reels. Very strong, sturdy and latches are excellent. The foam is good. Good box at a good price.

Does the job at a much lower price point
Is it airtight? Probably. It feels solid, it looks professional, my stuff fits in it. Biggest downside is that the foam is only two identical layers. So if you need to use the full depth, your stuff will be in direct contact with the bottom plastic (unless you put some foam there. maybe use glue?). The bigger 19x14x8 case from AxiGear uses three layers of foam so I’d go with that if you want to use the full depth.

So far, it is wowrking as expected
Not a bad case at all. I have not had a chance to test its water proofing or true sturdiness yet but for what I bought it for, it is nice and does the job. The foam spells some when you first get it but I guess that is the nature of foam. Gotta let it air out. Anyway. great little case.

Nice case for the price
This case looks deeper in person than in the description. Three layers of plush pluckable foam with a thin layer on the bottom and egg crate foam attached to the lid. The foam was great to work with and gave professional results when finished off in a few layers of Plastidip. I feel secure trusting my really expensive gear to the airline baggage handlers now.

Used this for organizing my Aquarium dosing elements. Fits everything perfectly and the foam is easy to pull and setup for my exact needs. Needed the extra leak protection just in case a bottle inside leaks.
