Fully functional camera without nagging subscriptions!
I purchased this camera to pair with an outdoor camera and wanted to make sure the app was the same. I’ve tried several other brands in the past including Ring and Yi/Yi Home. Both want monthly subscriptions and limit the use of the camera without it. This series of camera is the first I’ve purchased that does everything I want without having to pay for the subscription or some other device to make it work. The camera itself is barely the size of a coffee cup and looks like an air freshener. The sd card slot is easy to load and eject from, and also included mounting hardware for wall mounting. The power source is usb-c with a decent length cord (about 4 feet). Once powered on the camera jumps right into pairing mode without any resetting or fiddling. The software is simple with controls for ptz and recording on the front hud. The gimbal is smooth, and the picture is incredible for an indoor camera. Again, one of the best features is how functional this camera is without ANY additional cost. There is a cloud option if you choose, but it’s not forced upon you with ads. Even without a sd card the camera works perfectly as a room monitor. You can even screenshot and save to your phone without an SD present. It also includes motion tracking, human detection, siren, and a recording schedule. The only thing I’ve found to fault this camera with is the usb cord length, which is an easy fix. Highly recommended especially if you’re using multiple cameras.

UPDATE: ive had this camera for a little over a month now . be aware that this camera constantly disconnects to wifi even when wifi is working for everything else & then reconnects like 4 times in a row & does this every so often . gets pretty annoying .both my sister & i have this camera & its a really great camera . you do need a cloud subscription for this if you want to replay any footage or you can get an MICRO sd card up to 128 gb . the quality of the footage is really great & theres an app thats easy to download to view everything & use the camera . make sure you read the instructions to know how to turn it on as that was probably the most difficult part figuring it out but it works & so far i have zero issues besides it does get a little hot when plugged in .

It has a good picture, it records good and night vision works good and great price connectivity good, I’m not sure about storage, but the 360 isn’t picking up movement. I’ve tried to disconnect and reconnect, and no movement.

The camera itself isnât terrible. The video quality is very good and easy installation. The set back on this unit is it is beyond sensitive. If a fan blows a piece of paper or ⦠I kid not.. a fly is in the room, it triggers alerts and thatâs on medium sensitivity. The options are high, medium and off.i installed in a closed room, no one in there, and put on medium sensitivity and placed the siren on. In one hour i got 19 alerts⦠with no one in the room. That is the major draw back. In addition, if you want to save any of the videos it requires a subscription

Update*****Great Little Cameras
***Update after several weeks of use. Still great cameras, better camera pictures in the day time. Night time is ok, but not as good. To improve the camera pictures at night you must keep a light on or a lamp in use. Simply does not perform well in pitch darkness. I could barely see my dogs using the night vision. Also, the camera cords are extremely short, limiting the placement of the unit. Thatâs disappointing to say the least and during power outages, the cameras do not reboot or reconnect on their own when the power is restored. The cameras will give a loud message telling you that the camera is offline until you go back through the procedure using the app to get it back online. It wonât stop the messages until you unplug the camera or reboot it, which is annoying. Nevertheless, still a great buy for the money.Original post*****Just got these a couple of days ago and Iâm surprised at how good they are. Needed to monitor my dogs while I was at work and didnât expect much from the product. I was pleasantly surprised at how easy the setup was and how clear the videos are. The night vision is good and the talk speaker actually works. I was so impressed, I ordered more and now have a total of 7, one in each room. Well worth the money for a peace of mind. Iâll give an update later on down the road, I hope that they last for quite a while.
