Worth every penny
These are an absolute game changer for dogs with diet sensitivities. Itâs so easy to make your own mix of whatever and just freeze it in the little tray. So quick and easy to set up the toy and to clean it after. This green version is covered in a pretty tough rubber (if I had to compare, itâs somewhere between the hardness of a red or black kong) that is soft enough so when my senior dog chewed it a little, his teeth left marks in the rubber but didnât rip it, and it does pass the âthumbnailâ test. I could definitely see a spirited young dog skinning it/peeling all the rubber off if left to their own devices. Iâd closely monitor use and then trade out for it once the treat is gone.Also, I thought theyâd be huge for some reason?? The toy is about the size of a grapefruit, and the frozen treat is a little bigger than a ping pong ball. Not too many calories (especially if you cut whatever filler-mixture with water) but still lasts a long time. Canât recommend enough, truly.

Best Purchase Iâve Made for our Rottweiler
I never write reviews but this toy is easily the best thing I have bought for our 1.5-year-old Rottweiler. He looooves to chew and has chewed most of his toys to pieces, but we have used this one almost daily for 6+ months and it is still completely intact. The material itâs made of is extremely durable. Also, the size of the toy is great for not getting stuck under the couch unlike some other toys.We use the mold that it comes with to make him our own creative frozen treats (his favorite is greek yogurt mixed with chicken broth). When he is being a little punk and we need to keep him busy, we wedge a milk bone (or similar) into the toy and that will keep him entertained for at least half an hour while he is trying to get it out. The frozen treats keep him busy for at least 10 minutes but Iâd bet for a smaller dog they would last even longer.I love that the mold comes with 4 spots because being able to make multiple treats at once saves me a lot of time compared to the Kong toy which can only freeze one at a time. Plus I can be extra creative and make 4 different frozen treats if I want.My dog is obsessed with it even after half a year, and he will do anything to earn a frozen treat. When we have to put him in the crate before we leave the house, he goes willingly and is excited for his âice creamâ (frozen greek yogurt, or, in my husbandâs case, whipped cream) and is so distracted trying to lick it out that he doesnât even notice us go out the door.Overall, amazing toy. I couldnât recommend this enough, especially to large dog owners looking for something durable that their dogs will love.

I want to give this 5 stars so bad. It’s amazing. The ball itself is a 5, easy. But the tray needs a lid so desperately. That’s the only complaint. Carrying a weird concoction of dog mush to put in the freezer, and not having a lid for it, is gross.In all other way, perfect! This has helped my foster dog so much. He has a hard time settling but this is so soothing to him. He gets all glassy eyed and relaxed when he uses it. I love how much time it takes him, and how I know that he will undistracted and blissed out for about 30 min. I’ve also noticed it’s helped decrease his chewing significantly! He has a massive chewing problem and can ruin so much in so little time. But enrichment like this has helped so much!It’s also incredibly durable. My foster can put a hole in almost anything in one bite. He’s incredibly large and incredibly strong. But this is still intact! I do watch and remove it quickly once he is done, but he has had several opportunities and has yet to do significant damage to this!!Love it! If you have a restless dog, a chewer, or a dog that needs a little soothing, I’d 100% recommend trying this! But I’d also recommend it to any dog, its great enrichment for all!

Good and durable
I really like this, as my big dogs are all big chewers. I also have the black one, but donât like it as well because itâs difficult to see in the living room. The green one is great. I actually have accidentally melted ice cream and instead of wasting it I put it in the mold. Dogs are going crazy and keeps them busy.

A hit with the pups!
I have been thinking about buying these for awhile, grabbed them on black Friday and I am so glad I did. The dogs love them and get excited when I pull them out. Super easy to use and so much easier to clean than a Kong. I do love Kongs for meal replacement, but this is so great for a quick treat and keeping them occupied for a little while. I love the included tray for freezing whatever you like. Very happy with this purchase.

Very difficult to open and close
I would love this product and easily rate it 5 stars if it were not almost impossible to screw open and closed. I saw this feedback on a few reviews before buying and thought it was either user error or user weakness. (Sorry I didn’t believe you!) The little freezer tray works great, my dog is able to enjoy the treats the way the toy is designed, it doesn’t leak. It is smaller than I expected, but I actually like the size of it, as I don’t want to give my dog some baseball sized treat, it is just a little larger tha golfball sized treats. Perfect! But I get so frustrated every time, as the threaded screw-in part top to bottom is just too tight, and the rubber on rubber doesen’t want to slide. Sometimes I can only barely get it to go one half of a turn. It’s worse when it is wet, I think, so I try to wash it in advance rather than right before putting in a fresh treat. But even then I can’t get the thing to unscrew, and to screw back together. I considered only giving 2 stars it is so frustrating, but 3 seems fair because once it is sort of closed (it is never better than sort of closed) with a treat in there it works pretty well to deliver the treat.

Keeps their interest
The premade inserts are expensive, but the dogs really like them. And this did keep them busy for at least 30 minutes (2 90 lb GSDs). After I ran out of the inserts, I put other treats in there, and they were just as happy to like those out. (I squished soft treats against the side and then put in some lamb lung chunks).
