Feed cats on time
WOPET Automatic Cat Feeder for two cats is well made and sturdy. The item came in a plastic shipping bag and was not handled gently as the product box was totally crushed! The feeders however were just fine.These Wopet feeders are very much like the auto feeder I got years ago from a pet supply company, but these have some improvements..These feeders have a removable dish, cold pack to keep wet food cold, and a timer that requires a AA battery, just like my old double feeder. Unlike the old feeder, these feeders are two separate units that come with plastic connectors to link the two together. They can be used linked, or separately. Thatâs a real plus for me, because my cats would never eat side by side!Before you start, you need to put a battery (not included) in the bottom of the unit. Without a battery the timer does not function. These feeders also have a little toggle switch on the front so you can lock them closed for storage, independent of the timer setting. To open the units you move the toggle to the left and turn the timer to zero (clockwise). After adding the ice packs, place the food dish on top of it engaging the catch on the inside front. Close the lid and hold it while you set the hours you wish to pass before feeding time. Make sure you do not lock the toggle.The only issues I have with these is that the ice packs are quite small, so they will not keep food cold long, particularly if placed in a warm room or sunny location. Also the toggle lock on the front of the units were labeled with stickers. When I removed the stickers, there was hard to clean sticky residue.

Soooo Cool for pet owners
The perfect pet feeder. My search has ended. I love my fur babies just like my children. I want them to be safe and happy. This pet feeder gives me peace of mind that I am doing a good job of caring for them. As a responsible pet owner, I want to provide my babies with a routine feeding schedule, no matter what I have going on in my life.The timer is not a clock. What Itâs a countdown until the time I want the lid to open, for my babies to be fed. I love the fact that it doesnât make noise when it open. So it doesnât scare my pets. It is high-quality and durable. The rubber feet on the bottom, keeps a bowl from being slid all over the floorIf I want to feed them wet food, the ice packs allow the food to stay fresh, and me not to worry. I can also use it for dry food. This is also the perfect way to give them bedtime treats, and train them that itâs time to go to bed.Having multiple feeders for my cats, I no longer need a pet sitter for a weekend trip (so these quickly pay for themselves in many ways). This is a social life and time saver lol.

Does what it is designed to do.
We tried this several times before leaving our pets with it. It works as designed. Initially our pets were confused by the noise and then the top popping up. Once they realized it wasn’t trying to hurt them, they used it just fine. Definitely a great help when we are gone for an extended period of time.

Great for trips
I just tested this out on a two day, one night trip. I left my cat at home and kept a camera on her feeding station so I could be sure that it worked. Of course, I had a backup plan… but was hoping to not have to use it.First, I took the feeder out of the box and froze the ice packs it came with. I also took out the food inserts, cleaned them, and then froze the cat’s food inside. You can only fit one ice pack inside the container under the food insert. I just didn’t trust the cooling power of a small, thin bag of gel without any further insulation provided to the food.The morning I left, I put one double a battery into each side of the products. You have to put the (+) side in first or the battery will not fit. I struggled with this part for longer than I care to admit.I then placed the freezer packs in the bottom, put the food insert on top, set the timers, and locked the lids.The timer was not the most accurate, but since it measures in hours instead of minutes, that is to be expected. The lid opened for my cat about an hour and ten minutes after I wanted it to. It could be user error. I would recommend testing yours out first and adjusting accordingly so your pet is fed on time.My cat played around with this product for a while after I put it down, probably because she could smell her food inside but couldn’t reach it. I was terrified she would find the lock switch and open both lids to gorge herself. I wasn’t sure about the quality of the material standing up to an aggressive bengal kitten with all the energy in the world. Thankfully, the switch would not work with her paw swatting at it. The product’s construction held up nicely and was unable to be broken. You can’t even tell she was playing with it at all. As I’m typing this, I’m wondering if maybe the cat had something to do with the timer inaccuracy… maybe she moved the dial.Overall, I would say I am incredibly grateful for this product giving me the peace of mind to be able to give my cat her wet food she deserves while I am away for short periods of time. It is much cheaper than hiring a pet sitter. It performed well, and is cat proof. It is easy to set up and intuitive to work with. I love this product. I would highly recommend it!!
