Iâm blown away by the WYZE Cam v4! The 2.5K HD resolution makes everything crystal clear, and the color night vision is a game-changer for monitoring at night. Setting it up was super easy, and it syncs seamlessly with my Alexa and Google devices. The motion-activated spotlight is incredibly bright and gives me peace of mind, especially in dark areas. Wow night vision is so clear!
The night vision is better than my Google Home camera. I can’t believe this camera was so cheap considering the great quality. The functionality and features are so easy to navigate, not too much of a learning curve. Set up was a breeze. The Wi-Fi connectivity worked seamlessly and when I’m out and about during the day I have no problems checking in to my phone to see the camera at home, so the range is great. It records everything in the events section, very easy to navigate. It’s about 2 seconds in lag time when viewing in real time but that’s not really a big deal. I have it set up in my kitchen window pointing to the backyard (picture is with night vision) and there is no glare from the window. It looks like the camera is outdoors. I like the little green square that follows an animal or person in my backyard. Great pickup on detection. My phone alerts me when anyone is seen on my backyard. The camera also says, “you are being recorded” when it detects movement in the backyard. It can be turned off but I like it. It also has a spot light that turns on when detection is seen(I have it off) but it would be great if I had it outdoors. I would need to get a different cord if I had it outdoors but I’ll probably do that if I move. I was going to get an SD card but decided to just do the $2.99 a month plan to keep the recordings. It’s so cheap and totally worth it!

While the 2K clarity is a significant improvement over 1080p cameras, it does consume more storage space, meaning you’ll likely need a larger SD card for continuous recording. I currently use a 64GB card, but I would recommend opting for a higher capacity to accommodate the increased data usage. This minor adjustment will ensure you can fully take advantage of the camera’s capabilities without frequently running out of storage. Overall, the Wyze 2K camera is a worthwhile investment for its superior night vision, improved UI, and robust performance, though storage planning is key to maximizing its potential.

Mostly a good product, a few disappointments
I have six of these cameras are around my house and for the most part theyâre very good. Their night vision is excellent if you have the spotlight come on it lights adequately for the camera. But it will not replace your outdoor lights. (not why I bought this version)Set up is very easy. You download the Wyze app and they connect flawlessly. My biggest disappointment with these cameras is that out of the six, two of them will disconnect periodically. I believe it is when the temperature gets below 10° but I have not proven that yet. I contacted Wyze customer service and they basically said all I can do is unplug them and plug them back in. I was expecting since I have six of these and six of the V3âs plus a subscription that they would just send me two new cameras. Nothing like that at all. The only thing wyze customer service gave me was the operating range of -4°F to 122°Fâ¦I still give it four stars because the cameras do work very well and record 24/7.

Excellent video
For the price, this camera has the best image quality I have seen on an outdoor camera. The nighttime infrared is particularly impressive, and the ability to remotely activate the spotlight makes it even more useful. My one complaint is the software – there are at least half a dozen apps named âWyzeâ and no links or QR code to indicate the correct app. The first app I loaded was a subscription only service and would not connect to my camera. I was ready to return it at that point. But after some diligence, I located the correct app and connected easily. After that, I was amazed at the video quality and ease of use. I highly recommend this camera and will likely purchase more. I also bought a Wyze OG camera and it also has excellent video.

El paquete llegó en tiempo y forma, nuevo, sellado y sin daño, en cuestión de funcionamiento la cámara está de lujo, pequeña pero mejor que otras que he comprado, no es gratuito el servicio solo el primer mes, después tienes que suscribirte al producto para poder grabar y ver lo guardado en la nube, en la opción gratuita solo te manda alerta con foto pero no graba, el precio de suscripción está cómodo y tienes un buen producto.

I have V3, V3 OG and now bought V4. For the same price the image is way better, it looks sharp and clear. Night vision is better too. I did not buy they subscription, SD card works okay for me. The only issue so far is it sends notifications twice. I googled some threads saying it’s a known bug so likely it is what it is. Other than that it’s a good product.
