Our cable box is down stairs but we were having trouble getting the signal to the second floor. These worked great, great reception if internet speed.

Doesn’t Work
First of all, this item came just wrapped in a small piece of bubble wrap; no box, no instructions, no information whatsoever. I had to go to the net to get instructions on installing it and getting it connected with my XFinity router. However, this unit would not connect to my router. I’m not sure whether I got a defective unit or what, so I just returned it. Basically, it’s useless.

Does not work with 1
The wifi extender is a generation 1 model. It’s outdated and when you take it in to see why it doesn’t work xfinity tells you it takes 3 pods to work for generation 1. No where when you buy the 1 piece does it tell you that it will need a total of 3 to work. Don’t waste your money. The return process also sucks.

The light on the pod goes from bright to dim like a lashing light, it arrived in a little box wrapped in bubble wrap no paper work, no instructions and I have a infinity rented modem and it doesn’t work, I’ll be returning it
