Accurate description
So my critters can be a little fussy and they loved the cat tree that was replaced by this one. This one matches the colors of the room was easy to assemble. So far one of the cars LOVES the high perch! Great value for the money!

Many slick surfaces
Our previous cat trees had carpeted platforms, so it took our crew a while to to adjust to the slick surfaces on this one. They enjoy the box, the top platform and the side hammock. They enjoy carpeted posts are showing some wear after about three months. The sisal wrapped ones are holding up well. I have laundered the pad in the box in cold water & dried on perm press & it did well. It took me about an hour to assemble with the provided tools by myself.

Less than hoped, but itâs working.
Switching from a carpeted cat tree, my cats had a hard time transitioning to the slick surface of the wood. I had to Velcro carpet pieces down on the first couple levels to invite them to use it. The top levels are small and awkward for an adult sized cat, although they do use the small basket to sleep. The hammock underneath is useless. The scratching posts are nice and used frequently. With modifications, it is working out fine and definitely gives a better asthetic than the typical cat tree.

Easy to assemble
My kittens love it! It was easy to assemble, but I do wish I had realized it didnât have a carpet or cloth covering on the floors of the levels. I went on Amazon and bought 3 carpet samples and stuck them to the floor levels so they can get a grip. Thatâs why I took off a star.

Sturdy but many design flaws
The cat tower took approximately 1 hour to assemble. The directions for assembling were easy to follow, but the order of assembling the parts of the tree sometimes made it cumbersome to reach the screws.No sooner our cats started climbing on the tree, we noticed they were having difficulties.- The wood shelves give them absolutely nothing for their claws to grab into.-The placing of the levels and the intended holes for climbing through were awkwardly designed and made it difficult for them to easily climb the levels.Whether my tiny 7 lb. cat or my 12 lb. chunky boy tried climbing the tree, they both gave up and jumped off.Aesthetically?- The carpet looks/feels pretty thick and durable, but white? A big ânoâ for me, especially with multi cats.-The woodâ¦looks like stained plywood. And after 3 days, all scratched up from the cats trying to claw their way up.-The large cactus on small top shelf. Kind of looks like it was modeled after an adult toy.Overall, if the tree height was about 2 feet taller so the levels were more spaced for easier climbing, the rug was a different color than white, the wood shelves had rug for the cats to claw into, and the cactus was differently shaped, it would be the perfect cat tree.
