Outstanding, healthy, delicious!
This product beats chia pudding, oatmeal, granola and other healthy starts to your day. Easy to prepare with loads of fiber, protein and other nutrients. I mix it with yogurt add mango, berries or sliced grapes and of course walnuts! Whatâs not to love! Itâs a high quality basil seed that great that observes water quickly and blends well with yogurt fruit and nuts. Itâs absolutely delicious! Iâm addicted to starting my day with this product!

Better than chia seeds
I replaced the chia seeds in my morning lemon water with basil seeds and I love it! They contain a ton of fiber and omegas, so they’re great for digestion. They help you “eliminate” in the morning.

These are wonderful, yummy and healthy!
These are so good, rich in Omega 3s and I soak 2 T in 1/2 c of water, wait 5 minutes. Then I mix it with organic Coconut Cult (my fav) plain yogurt and then a few berries. It’s great for a sugar free, high fat desert. And my body loves it.

Delicious alternative to Chia Seeds and Easier to Work With
These are much better tasting and easier to digest than chia seeds. I enjoy chia seeds, however once my nutritionist suggested these Basil seeds I switched. Very easy to work with and easier to digest. Just soak these in water and you can blend them into almost anything, as they become tasteless after they are soaked.

Basil Seed
Not bad. First time ordering this brand. I have been drinking basil seed drink on and off for the past 30 years. It an Asian drink so nothing newUsually get them from the local Asian market and definitely cheaper than here at like 80 cent per 47g package. Honestly, they taste the same. Basil seed is basil seed. I will just say the mark up price is for the organic and certification claim. Do have to admit that I did not see any dirt particle from the bag I got so I will trust the quality for now.The plastic bag was ok. The zip broke during my 1st opening so I just toss it in a glass jar that I use to store basil seed.Tip for those that want faster seed hydration. Soak them in a bit of hot or warm water and they will be ready in like 30sec to 2 minutes. I usually do the 196F water from my boiler. You really only need like 1-2 teaspoon depending on how thick want it.Cold water, ice or sugar will drastically slow down the process to like 20-30min+. Only put sugar in when they are ready to be consume. Trust me on this one after many years experimenting. Also, do not leave it in the fridge for the next day. The texture get mushy/slimy and water taste a bit stale (I had to drain it and put in new water). Unless this texture is your preference. The freshly made one is more chewy.

Great product!
I use these in yogurt and in home made bread. Always consistent qualty and they have a neutral flavor. Bonus is that they are low in oxalates compared to Chia seeds. The only negative is that they are a bit pricey.

Quality and freshness every time. Great for morning smoothies. Fiber is effective. Love Basil herb in general and cook with leafs so this was a pleasant surprise to discover. Am sensitive and this does not affect my stomach or cause any digestive discomfort. It’s not even noticeable. I use 1tsp for protein smoothie daily. Have not used it anywhere else yet but has many uses as described on the package. Price is reasonable given the quality of the product and minimal daily use for good results. My only go to option for a sensitive body and system, thankful for this product. Have looked at other suppliers of similar product but do not have the same benefits and or same high fibre content and gluten free facility claim so they are perhaps inexpensive but you need to consume 3x or more to get same results with 1 tsp and not as a clean a product as this one. This works for me and we need to find what works best for each of us.

I ordered it just to try it because I experienced stomach pain from chia seed which I wasn’t able to use any more and I needed some substitute. It is very light for stomach and digestion, I also feel better energy level and my skin texture improved. I feel some health benefits and I will continue daily use. The taste is neutral so you can add any spices as cinnamon or vanilla, some sweetener and other. Comparing to chia seeds, it absorbs the liquid much faster and doesn’t cause heaviness and stomach pain. The delivery was as predicted and I will certainly reorder from this company.

Got a crap ton of seeds and tried to plant plenty and not one single seed germinated.. the ones my neighbour tried didn’t as well.. makes me wonder how old they are…They taste great and plump up well, but I noticed there were some other seeds and such dispersed among the basil seeds

Basil seeds are such a great addition. You can incorporate it much like chia seeds much like anything however I do this itâs over priced. Iâve been able to purchase other brand for $14.99. This is $27.99. It would be nice for this company to be somewhat comparison to their competitors
