Doorbell CameraThis was very easy to setup to my phone just by watching the video and downloading the ZUMIMALL app. No need for a subscription, we added a 128GB micro SD card to store recordings. Mounting the unit was easy with the provided hardware which even included a screwdriver. This unit has a rechargeable battery that should last 2 to 3 months on a charge per instructions. Wiring is provided as an option to use power instead of battery. For us to run power would be a pain with the brick veneer so we’ll stick with the battery for now. The unit is removable from the mounted base using the provided key to bring inside to recharge or we have a power brick to charge it in place. The doorbell unit uses AAA batteries supplied and has an option to use USB-C power. We mounted the camera just under 5 feet off the step landing so it would be higher than the railing allowing full view of our curved sidewalk to the driveway. Most of the landing is also visible in the split view. The doorbell unit doesn’t need to be mounted so we placed it on top of our Grandfather clock out of the way but accessible. This device alerts my phone when it detects movement at about 20 feet from the camera which is great so it doesn’t record activity on the street. It has an option for SD or HD video along with an auto feature. The intercom feature lets me talk through the unit to communicate without opening the door. This also has a siren feature that you can trigger from the app to scare off intruders. It’s loud enough to alert my neighbors so they will investigate. This is just what we were looking for and are very happy with the quality of the video doorbell.

Overall this is really good. Nice crisp and clear image in the app. You can install a card rather than pay for cloud storage. Installation was easy enough through the app. I like that there are multiple options for power including battery only, solar or other external, or use your existing doorbell wiring which is what I opted to do. Visitors are greeted by a nice animated blue light when approaching. Everything just works good, and this is great for people who aren’t too tech savvy.Now what I don’t like, first of all the included screws for mounting are extremely poor quality and the head of one just snapped off completely when only normal force was being applied to fasten to my siding. This made what should be a pleasant and easy installation annoying and difficult.There is no ability to connect this to any NVR, DVR, BlueIris etc, it is encrypted video and only usable with their proprietary app.Although it is free to store your video locally on a microsd card, there are ‘asks’ for you to pay for features such as AI analysis.My conclusion is many people will be happy with this for simplicity, image quality, extra coverage for packages and basic features. More techy type people might want to look for something with RTSP/Onvif

I loved how the doorbell works. It’s easy to install and set up, has a good range, the cameras look great, and it syncs perfectly with the app. I also really liked the way you can answer calls when someone rings the doorbell. I thought that was a great touch.
